Virtual, Inc. and Holocaust Museum Boston Win Gold Merit Award for Visual Storytelling
The Museum's From Vision to Reality film, produced by Virtual, Inc. and creative partner Green Iguana Productions, earns Gold in the Large Agency category of the 2026 Marketing & Communications Merit Awards
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – September 30, 2026 – Virtual, Inc., a strategic management partner for membership-based organizations, and Holocaust Museum Boston have won a Gold Merit Award for excellence and innovation in Visual Storytelling, recognizing the film created for the Museum’s From Vision to Reality milestone event.
Virtual produced the film in partnership with Green Iguana Productions to introduce the purpose, urgency, and promise of Holocaust Museum Boston, New England’s only stand-alone Holocaust education museum, set to open in spring 2027. Blending survivor testimony and forward-looking storytelling with previews of the Museum’s immersive galleries, the film transforms viewers from observers to stakeholders in the Museum’s creation and mission, connecting historical memory to present-day responsibility, and positioning Holocaust Museum Boston as both a place of remembrance and an active force for education and moral courage.
“Virtual has been a trusted partner to the Holocaust Legacy Foundation and Holocaust Museum Boston from our groundbreaking through our From Vision to Reality event. At every stage, they delivered experiences grounded in deep respect for our mission to Examine the Past, Connect to the Present, and Create the Future. Their creative leadership, especially in visual storytelling, translated history and emotion into a story that connected deeply with our audiences,” said Jody Kipnis, Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Holocaust Legacy Foundation and Holocaust Museum Boston.
The Merit Awards for Marketing & Communications celebrate organizations and individuals that have demonstrated exceptional creativity, strategic thinking, and impactful results across a wide range of disciplines including brand strategy, digital marketing, public relations, content development, and integrated campaigns. Winners are selected by a panel of judges representing industry executives, consultants, and members of the media. The full list of 2026 winners is available on the Merit Awards website.
“At Virtual, we believe powerful storytelling can move a mission forward and make a mark on the world. This project was especially meaningful because it challenged us to honor history while creating an experience that would convey both the urgency of Holocaust education and the promise of Holocaust Museum Boston,” said Stacey Comito, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Global Events at Virtual. “We're grateful to the Holocaust Legacy Foundation for trusting us with this important work and to Green Iguana Productions for helping bring it to life. It's an honor to see this collaboration recognized with a Gold Merit Award.”
