Virtual, Inc. Names Adam Rak to Lead Strategic Partnerships and Tech Client Growth

Veteran technology and business development leader joins Virtual to drive new growth opportunities and support client success

Wakefield, MA – May 29, 2025 – Virtual, Inc., a leading provider of professional services for membership-based organizations, today announced the appointment of Adam Rak as Head of Strategic Partnerships and West Coast Initiatives. Based in California, Rak will lead business development efforts to grow Virtual’s technology and standards client portfolio. He will also provide strategic counsel and executive leadership for key accounts.

In this newly created role, Rak will report to Greg Kohn, Virtual’s Chief Strategy Officer.

Rak has more than 25 years of experience developing and leading strategic partnerships and initiatives in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President at Vatoca, providing strategic government affairs and business development consulting. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Government Relations at Trustwave Government Solutions, where he launched the company’s first government relations program and secured key public sector opportunities. He has also held senior leadership roles at Symantec, TechAmerica, and Potomac International Partners, and currently serves as Executive Director of CyberUSA.

 

In addition to his professional work, Rak is actively involved in local government as a former Mayor of San Carlos, California, and a current member of the city council. Rak holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
