Hidden talent:
I played the dad in a community show of the musical Bye Bye Birdie and I also danced in the party scene for the Nutcracker on a couple of occasions.
What I do for fun:
I love to go birding. My binoculars are always nearby and often accompany me on trips. As a dad of three daughters, I love watching women’s sports with them.

Family time with my wife and daughters

If you don’t ask you don’t get.

Have a growth mindset. Learn and grow from your mistakes and be willing to try new things.

Community involvement:
I am a former Mayor and current City Council Member in San Carlos, CA.
I Chair the ReThink Waste and the City/County Association of San Mateo Boards. I also serve on the One Shoreline Board and am a former San Carlos School Board Member. I have volunteered as a youth basketball coach.
